Levels & Proficiency Progress
Our program tracks and encourages students to be excited about their progress along the Proficiency Journey using the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Proficiency Levels (see graph to the right).
Students earn stickers, badges, and medals that reflect their progress.
By starting at a young age, children are positioned for strong language abilities as they continue on their journey, through Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Superior, and Distinguished levels.
Our curriculum and proprietary student progress trackers are based on the National Council of State Supervisors for Languages (NCSSFL) and American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Can-Do Statements.
These are used to measure students’ proficiency and reflect the continuum of growth in the below areas:

We offer courses for both heritage speakers and non-native learners in the following levels:
