Culturingua brings together high school students from its partner schools around the globe to work together to develop a solution for global issues. Through this project-based learning program, students are grouped in small cross-geography teams to create a solution in the form of a social enterprise using a Design Thinking Process that aims to solve a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG).
Culturingua provides enrichment language and culture exploratory programs to students in grades 3 to 9. Students pretend to visit various countries of the Arab world while learning Arabic thematic and functional vocabulary. The courses also explore current events in the various countries in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Culturingua initiated, in partnership with the City of San Antonio, the formation of a friendship city between San Antonio and Amman, Jordan.
