Culturingua partners with the National Network for Arab American Communities to conduct voter outreach in Bexar County. During election season, our VDRs on staff engage in the community and partner with the League of Women Voters of San Antonio to produce voter materials in Arabic and Pashto, register voters, and inform the community on important voter information. We also host civic engagement events like our annual Verse and Vote: A Poetry Night for Civic Action series and others.

Culturingua partners on an annual basis with the National Network for Arab American Communities to participate in National Arab American Service Day where thousands of volunteers come together to better their communities across the country. 2023 Culturingua and community members volunteered at Rudder Middle School to clean the school's outdoor garden used for gardening club and other student activities. In 2022 and 2024 Culturingua and community members volunteered at the Rock Creek Drainage easement to clean the greenspace and bring greater visibility for the need for more parks and walking spaces in the Medical Center north and south of Wurzbach Road between Fredericksburg and I-10.

In preparation for the 2020 Census, Culturingua held multiple outreach events and competitions to engage local community members and inform them of the importance in making sure you are counted! Culturingua promoted the Census 2020 efforts among the Middle Eastern, North African, South Asian residents through multiple events, advertising materials, and an art competition which resulted in beautiful community artwork to be displayed in local supermarkets like Ali Baba and in community libraries.
