Program Overview

Culturingua brings together high school students from its partner schools around the globe to work together to develop a solution for global issues. Through this project-based learning program, students are grouped in small cross-geography teams to create a solution in the form of a social enterprise using a Design Thinking Process that aims to solve a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG).

تجمع منظمة كاتشرإينقوا طلاب المرحلة الثانوية من مدارس حول العالم للعمل معاً لإيجاد حلول لقضايا عالمية من خلال هذا البرنامج والذي يتبع استرتيجية التعلم بالمشاريع، حيث يتم تقسيم الطلبة إلى مجموعات صغيرة مختلطة من مناطق جغرافية مختلفة، وكل فريق يعمل على إيجاد حل في شكل مؤسسة مجتمعية لتحقيق أحد أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة باتباع عملية التفكير التصميمي.

During the 2021-2023 school years, Culturingua is connecting American and Arab high school students from Texas and Libya.

How Virtual Exchange helps

Virtual exchange uses technology, curricula, and facilitation to give young people around the world the opportunity to learn and work together. Virtual exchange programs already connect thousands of young people across the United States and around the world, in primary and secondary education as well as in higher education. Educators and other facilitators use a wide variety of tech tools and address many subjects through their programs. Virtual exchange is cost-effective, scalable, and uniquely capable of reaching populations that are not otherwise reached by in-person exchange programs.

1) Entrepreneurial skills are an effective way to solve real-world social problems.

2) Entrepreneurial training supports leadership development.

3) Virtual exchanges improve cross-cultural communication skills.
