MindWell

Culturingua's MindWell program partners with The City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, with ARPA funding, to provide mental health services to immigrant and refugee youth, ages 12-19. These youth are students in one of the San Antonio school districts.

MindWell: social and emotional support program is comprised of a peer support group and individual counseling. To ensure students feel safe and supported within these services, we ensure our peer support specialists share the same cultural background and speak the same language.  Therapy services are provided by a licensed therapist, aided by a medically certified interpreter.

MindWell has an overall goal of reducing youth’s symptoms of anxiety and depression and to promote overall healing, growth, and self-confidence.
